The Center for Student Health and Wellness

About The Center for Student Health and Wellness

In honor of Dr. Laurel Kennedy's retirement on June 30, 2020, as well as her 30 years of service to the college, several Denisonians established a gift fund to support the area of Student Health and Wellness. The gifts to this fund will support the construction of the building and will name a space in the Center as a tribute to Laurel's impactful legacy.

Denison’s new Health and Wellness Center will better position the university to deal with the everyday stressors associated with college life and those major disruptions like we’re seeing with the current pandemic. The Center will house an integrated model of healthcare with a warm welcoming space that is both accessible and comfortable. Denison’s ambitious vision for wellness will expand services to enhance students’ personal wellbeing, including nutrition, exercise, and contemplative practices. The Health and Wellness Center will become the hub for students to find the resources and care they need.
