Women’s Fencing
The women’s fencing season runs from early September through the NCAA Championships in late March. Denison competes in the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference that includes top-10 programs Northwestern and Ohio State. Individuals compete in one of three disciplines — foil, epee, and sabre.
Head Coach Peter Grandbois, a member of Team USA Fencing, is also a professor of English and journalism at Denison. The Big Red’s roster includes athletes from Southern California to New England and includes fencers from Turkey and China. Recent recruiting efforts have bolstered the program and bode well for the future.
The fencers and Coach Grandbois appreciate your financial support of this up-and-coming program that’s creating a lot of buzz in the collegiate fencing ranks.
