Women's Cross Country

The 2024 season for the Denison University Women's Cross Country team marks a new beginning for the program as Veronica Rocco takes over as head coach.

Rocco, who will also serve as an assistant track & field coach during the spring, arrived after spending the past five years as an assistant coach for both cross country and track & field programs at her alma mater, Amherst College.

"I'm excited to join the Denison community and to lead the Women's Cross Country team to compete at the highest level in the NCAC and NCAA," Rocco said. "I'm thrilled to empower the student-athletes to be the best versions of themselves as people, students, and athletes, and I believe that the Denison community will challenge and support them to do so."
