Men's Football
Denison University football is enjoying a renaissance, and the artist behind the masterpiece is Jack Hatem, who will begin his 15th season as head coach in 2024. Entering the ’24 season, Hatem ranks second in career wins at Denison, boasting a career record of 86-46. Only the legendary Keith Piper, with his 200 career victories, has more wins. During the 2022 season, Hatem surpassed the 76 wins collected by the venerated Walter J. Livingston from 1911 through 1926.
Highlighted by hard-fought victories over Wabash and Ohio Wesleyan, Denison placed second in the North Coast Athletic Conference in 2023. The Big Red have finished in either first or second place four times in the last five seasons. Following the 2023 campaign, 15 DU gridders were honored with All-Conference recognition.
