Field Hockey

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Denison Big Red field hockey, and builds on last year's memorable season with its dramatic victory to capture its fifth NCAC tournament title last fall.

The team is guided by veteran head coach and mentor P.J. Soteriades who, in her 25th season, has turned Denison field hockey into a fixture at the top of the conference standings and regional rankings.

"Last year was not only a terrific season, it was a lot of fun," Soteriades says. "Our challenging non-conference schedule played a crucial role in preparing us for the NCAC schedule. Veteran players combined seamlessly with our new players, who we were able to grow tremendously throughout the year. This season, we're eager to build on that momentum and hope the new additions to our roster will continue to elevate our performance."
